The Law of Attraction. How Does It Work?

I have been giving some thought lately to what I would like to write about and the one thing that keeps showing itself up in my life and in my office day after day is the “Law of Attraction”. Ever heard of the saying “you don’t get what you wish for, you don’t even get what you hope for, you get what you believe in”. I’ve been noticing this theme play out in my own life and in the life of my clients.

I’ve had many clients say things like “why is this happening to me”, “i really wanted this to work”, “i can’t believe I’ve lost the one thing that was so important to me”, “i’ve been so down and low on myself lately”…Have you ever wondered why things/people that mean so much to us sometimes get taken away from us suddenly or we knew that they were long gone but we still kept hanging on to them so tightly that when we actually realised that they were physically gone the pain of losing what we had was unfathomable.

Well, lets explore how the Law of Attraction works it’s magic. Simply put, the Law of Attraction is the ability to attract into our lives whatever we are focusing on. All our thoughts turn into things, eventually. If we choose to focus on the negative thoughts we will remain under that cloud. Where as if we choose to shift that paradigm and focus on the positive thoughts and have goals that we aim to achieve I guarantee you, you will find a way to achieve them with massive action.

Very few people are fully aware of how much of an impact the Law of Attraction has on their day to day life. Whether we are doing it knowingly or unknowingly, every second of our existence, we are acting as human magnets sending out our thoughts and emotions and attracting back more of what we have put out. Hence, all our thoughts and feelings that we fear the most, more often than not become our reality.

Here’s my invitation to anyone who wants to manifest what they truly believe in. Keep a gratitude journal, and in it every night list 5 things that you are grateful for this day and in the days to come. What this will begin to do for you is, change your perspective of your day and of your life. I believe if you learn to focus on what you have you will always see that the universe is abundant and you will have more. If you concentrate and focus on what you don’t have, you will never have enough. Be grateful.
