My approach is to offer a safe, empathetic and non-judgemental presence in which you feel respected, supported and held. I believe the therapeutic relationship between us is the heart of our work together. Whatever the experience, feeling or conjuncture that has led you to want to change, I regard this journey as one of self-discovery and unpacking what lies beneath the surface. Together, we begin where you are at present and then delve into the possibilities for living life more satisfyingly, by your own paradigm.

Counselling, Psychotherapy,Group Therpay, Online Consultations

I offer short and longer-term counselling to adults over the age of 18 years old. Key areas of my work include: trauma, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, grief and loss, crisis management, conflict management, communication difficulties.

In addition to individual and couples counselling I also have a passion for group therapy and have experience in leading anxiety and depression support groups. These support groups are a great way of gaining support by listening to others and sharing your own experiences of anxiety and depression. The groups are informal, open yet confidential, and collaborative and incorporate many therapeutic tools to help with improving your mental, physical, emotional and psychological health.

Modalities/ Approach

Person Centred, Psycho Dynamic, Gottman Therapy
I use a mixture of psychodynamic and person-centred therapy. I seek to help my clients increase their awareness of their ways of being in the world and to explore with them new possibilities that lead to greater choice. I have also trained extensively in the Gottman method of Therapy. The Gottman Method is an approach to couples’ therapy that includes a thorough assessment of the couple relationship and integrates research-based interventions based on the Sound Relationship House Theory.
